Dear Readers,
If you were anywhere in the Roncesvalles area on September 13th or 14th you would have noticed one of Toronto’s largest street festivals in action — the 2014 Roncesvalles Polish Festival. Toronto Family Hearing was there with a booth in the centre of the action. We had lots of give aways (including hearing protection!) and a prize draw. Having recently opened our clinic this was our first time attending the festival. In between all the great food and rides many people found time to stop by the booth and ask questions about what we can do for them and their friends, family and children.
It was a great experience and it was wonderful to meet so many people in the community. I’m hoping our presence at the festival got more people thinking about their hearing health and the services we offer. Many people were interested to learn that we also work with children. We offer parents the ability to book hearing tests, hearing aid clean and checks, hearing aid tubing changes, OAE (Otoacoustic Emission) and ABR (Auditory Brainstem Response) testing for their children with virtually no wait times. We also know it is difficult to plan around all of a child’s daily activities, which is why we offer a flexible appointment schedule with availability on evenings and weekend.
Here is a picture of our booth. If you were contacted as a winner in our prize draw please stop by the office with your letter to claim your prize.
Always remember, an open setting like this isn’t the only time people should feel comfortable stopping by to discuss their hearing. Hearing health is our passion so we always offer no obligation consultations. If you have a question about your hearing call or stop in anytime!
